FOR ALL NEW PATIENTS!  PLEASE READ...

:

           YOUR FIRST ACUPUNCTURE APPOINTMENT:

  • Your first Initial Consultation and Acupuncture treatment will be approximately 1 1/2 hours in length. 
  • You will need to fill out the Intake form for Acupuncture below and bring it with you completed to your session.  If you are not able to do this at home, come to your appointment 15-20 minutes early to fill them out at the office.
  • If you are coming for a fertility or virility issue, please fill out out the additional intake form below labeled Intake form for Fertility.  It is also important to bring any recent lab tests with you. 
  • Do not brush or clean your tongue the morning of your Acupuncture session.
  • Always take your prescription medications, but if your coming in for Acupuncture to address a pain issue, try to avoid taking your over the counter painkillers such as, aspirin, Advil, Motrin and Alleve.  (If this is not possible due to the intensity of your pain, take whatever you need to in order to get to your appointment!)
  • Wear loose clothing for your Acupuncture sessions, usually we work from your elbows and knees down to the tips of your fingers and toes.    
  • Please refrain from using colognes and perfumes, some of our other patients  are very sensitive to strong fragrances.
  • Keep in mind there is a 24 hour cancellation policy.
  • And finally, there is street parking only.  You will also find parking lots near the fourth street shopping area.  Parking is a little easier near the office and towards the residential area, but still leave yourself enough time to find it!

 

           FOR NEW PATIENTS WHO HAVE SCHEDULED THEIR OWN APPOINTMENT ON LINE!  PLEASE READ...

  • If you have scheduled yourself online it is VERY IMPORTANT that you come to your appointment 20-30 minutes early. This provides us time to review your paperwork and have a proper consultation.  Unfortunately, the online scheduler does not allow us to schedule consultations only acupuncture appointments, we are sorry for any possible confusion.  To help you, here is an example, if you schedule yourself for 10am, you will need to be at the office at 930am and no later than 940am. This only pertains to your first visit. All follow up visits are one hour in length and will be at its respective time.  Also, when scheduling, please choose the "Initial Consultation and Acupuncture appointment" service.  Thank you and again, we apologize for any confusion.

           YOUR FIRST MASSAGE OR BODYWORK SESSION:

  • Please bring the Intake Form for Massage (see below) filled out and ready to go for your session.  If you don't have a printer or your internet isn't working, you can fill them out in the office. 
  • For Cranio-sacral it recommend that you wear yoga pants or sweatpants and loose comfortable clothing.
  • For Lymphatic Drainage it is recommended that your first session is 1 1/2 hours in length.
